The Real Estate Marges at Marshall Realty are not Marges at all. They are Anne Oliva and Denise Baker. There is a whole clan of friends who call themselves The Marges. We are the Real Estate Marges and there are other Marges depending on what the person does. There's even a baseball team called the Little Marges.


Anne and Denise have been partners for about eight years. As a team, they specialize in subsidies and first time home buyer opportunities, both private and public available to first time buyers.


Anne grew up in real estate being the daughter of Bob Marshall, a forty-five year veteran of the industry and founder and owner of Marshall Realty since 1959. Marshall Realty remains an independent brokerage dedicated to being number one in personal service. They are committed to superior service, integrity and unparalleled reputation.


When Anne and Denise became the Marges in charge of First Time Home Buyers, they formed a real estate partnership in 1997. Together they do one seminar a quarter, and in the last seven years they've averaged fifty potential buyers per seminar.


Their four seminars a year provide participants with the knowledge needed to understand the home buying process. Anne and Denise are not only experts in the many programs offered through cities and counties in the Bay Area to help first time home buyers become owners, they also provide counseling to those who plan to buy in the future, by helping them establish a plan toward that goal.


Their First Time Home Buyer Seminars have educated over 1200 people and have led to more that 400 families established in new homes. They receive numerous referrals from the seminars and their successful first time buyer clients. They consider this the biggest compliment they can receive.


Recently they handed a young man the keys to an expensive new home. Just two years ago, at the age of nineteen, he was able to buy a studio condo with a lot of determination on his part and dedication on theirs. They sold it at a good profit for him and made it possible for him to buy a new home. This transaction was one of the highlights of their careers.


They have grown their business on their own. They look at transactions as relationships not as a numbers goal or a dollar figure. They are a very hands-on professional duo. They can easily be reached. It is very rare not to be able to get in touch with one of them.


Anne and Denise understand that buying a home is the most important investment of a client's life and they help each client understand how the purchase of a home will affect the rest of their life. They teach clients to think in terms of retirement and help them build a plan that looks at their whole life.


Their commitment and dedication to their clients, matched with their ability to make people feel comfortable with them as a team, helped them win the SAMCAR Team Sales Award seven years in a row 1998 through 2004.
